MM Web Design keeps the pricing and rates very simple. I am not a large web development firm with a lot of overhead and I am not in the business of building the most complex websites around either. This is why my rates are very low and affordable for the small business owner. So, you want to know what a website will cost. Well, here it is:

Site development and design.

The cost is a flat rate of $800.
How did I decide on that amount? Well, I charge $40 per hour with a max of 20 hours to complete your site. If it takes me 50 hours you still only pay $800. Most informational/static sites that I have done usually take me between 20 and 30 hours to build. *Note: If you pay with credit card add $25.

Site hosting and your domain name.

The cost is a flat rate of $95.40 per year.
Keep in mind that I don't make a penny off of this charge. I use one of the highest rated hosting companies in the business, Ipowerweb.com. With Ipowerweb I can get your website hosted for one year and get your own unique domain name (www.your-business-name.com) for approximately $95.40 per year ($7.95 per month-paid annually) .This fee will need to be renewed each year in order to to keep your site hosted and your domain. If you want to pay for two years in advance, the cost is $6.95 per month ($166.80 paid evry two years).

Site updating.

The cost is $40 per hour. (half-hour minimum)
Remember, with most of the small business and static/informational sites that I build there is usually not much updating. You will likely spend less than $200 per year on updates and many people spend $0. Obviously this cost could vary, but that all depends on your business and online needs. Also, the $40 an hour is likely to be one of the lowest per hour rates you will find in this industry.
